MOA is pleased to annouce that Sue Baird, MOA Executive Director, has been appointed to the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB).  Her term will begin on January 24, 2017. Congratulations Sue!

Sue BairdMs. Sue Baird has been appointed to the NOSB as a public interest and consumer representative. Ms. Baird serves as the Executive Director of the Missouri Organic Association, dba Mid-America Organic Association, which educates consumers and farmers about the advantages of organic food and production practices. She also serves as an independent organic consultant, inspector, and reviewer. Ms. Baird holds a Master's in Animal Science and Poultry Diseases, and has served on local, state, regional, and national boards that serve the organic community and industry. Since 1995, she has owned and operated a calf/cow operation.
